This legume also known as Kapikachhu, Velvet bean or Dopamine bean is one of the only naturally occurring and most concentrated sources of L-Dopa, which translates to dopamine, a neurotransmitter that ignites a feeling of joy and bliss.
Our Mucuna pruriens extract is sourced from smallholder family farms nestled in and around Rajasthan, India, where it has long been regarded as a highly nutritious superfood, remarkable ability to enhance libido in both men and women and as a potent nootropic, supporting brain health
Ingredients: Ceremonial Grade Cacao, Mucuna Pruriens, rose petals, vanilla powder
Rose: This flower exerts a positive effect on your body, mind and skin and has been used since ancient times and regarded as a powerful heart opener. Roses are not only a universal symbol of love but also a natural aphrodisiac. According to Ayurveda, rose petals are very effective in helping a person feel sexually active by acting on two essential doshas in our body, which in turn regulate heart, mind and the nervous system. Rose also helps with digestion, blood purification, are high in antioxidant and help reduce inflamation.
Vanilla: Cacao and Vanilla go together like Romeo and Juliet. Smelling vanilla can have calming effects on the mind. Both Aztecs & Maya used vanilla to enhance the heart-opening effects of cacao, as they believed that adding vanilla would give aphrodisiac effects.
1 bag contains a 500 gram Cacao block. Required to be cut in the correct dosage for your personal serving or shared with loved ones
- 10-20 grams = Regular drinking serving
- 20-30 grams = Meditative drinking serving
- 30-50 grams = Ceremonial drinking serving
Add warm liquid of choice: Water (Plant) Milk, or herbal tea. [Do not boil the liquid or you will lose most of the magic]
Then set an intention as you blend / whisk the cacao magic.
Note: The cacao is already potently spiced with: Rose petals and vanilla.
Feel free to add any other sweeteners / herbs / spices of your choice.
Cacao is always best when consumed straight after opening and when shared with loved ones. Otherwise, you best off storing it in a cool and dry place far far away from any other cacao lover 😉
Important to note to keep your cacao away from moisture so you can prolong the shelf life to two years or even longer!
Additionally, ceremonial cacao, being a natural product without the preservatives often found in commercial chocolate, may be more susceptible to changes in texture over time as its a very sensitive for moist and temperature change! However if your cacao is melted it is still oke to use and still contains all its properties.
