Golden Focus Ritual | Herbal Cacao

Take a breath. Find a quiet space. Let the outside world soften.
This ritual is a gift, from our heart to yours.

1Step One

Prepare Your Sacred Cup

Golden Focus is a blend of ceremonial cacao from the Alta Verapaz region of Guatemala, infused with Lion’s Mane mushroom, Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, and vanilla. A grounding elixir crafted to sharpen focus, support intention, and bring sacred clarity to your daily work.

Tap each ingredient to discover its gifts:

  • Ceremonial cacao bean
    Ceremonial Cacao
  • Ceremonial cacao beanNative heirloom Acriollado cacao from the Alta Verapaz region of Guatemala. Stone-ground in small batches, unsweetened, full of theobromine and minerals (magnesium, iron, zinc). Sourced from Q’eqchi’ Maya cooperatives via FEDECOVERA, supported by 25,000+ farmer families, Top 20 Heirloom Cacao designation, paid 125% above market through our Reciprocity Program.
  • Lion's Mane mushroom

  • Lion’s Mane mushroom close-upThe mushroom of clarity. Lion’s Mane is an adaptogen prized for supporting focus, mental sharpness, and a quiet, steady presence. Paired with cacao, it brings a luminous, gently uplifted state, the kind of focus that opens, not narrows.
  • Ceylon cinnamon sticks
    Ceylon Cinnamon
  • Ceylon cinnamon sticksSweet, grounding warmth. True Ceylon cinnamon (not the cheaper cassia), prized in Maya tradition. It balances blood sugar, supports steady energy, and softens cacao’s bitter edges with a comforting, earthy sweetness that anchors the body.
  • Cardamom pods
    Cardamom
  • Cardamom podsThe spice of mental clarity. Cardamom adds a bright, aromatic lift that supports digestion and lightens the mind. It opens the airways and softens the richness of cacao with a clean, almost floral finish.
  • Vanilla pod
    Vanilla
  • Real vanilla pods. Soft, calming, the gentle counterpoint to the focus of Lion’s Mane and the brightness of cardamom. Vanilla rounds the cup into something warming, embracing, complete. Like an exhale after the climb.

How to prepare

3 Steps to Your Cacao Drink

A simple, slow practice. Let each step be part of the ritual.

Breaking pieces of the Herbal Cacao disc on a wooden surface
01

Choose Your Dose

Break a piece from your 100g disc. 10g for a daily cup, 20g for meditation, 30-50g for ceremony. Each person feels cacao differently. Begin gently.

Add Warm Liquid

Warm water, plant milk (oat is silky and sweet), or herbal tea to about 70°C. Never boil. Your Golden Focus blend is already infused with Lion’s Mane, Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, and vanilla.

Blend & Froth

Whisk with a molinillo, hand whisk, or blender until a soft foam crowns the cup. The rainbow shimmer of the froth is the spirit of Ix Cacao herself. As you stir, weave in your intention.
