Signature Ritual | Herbal Cacao

Take a breath. Find a quiet space. Let the outside world soften.
This ritual is a gift, from our heart to yours.

1Step One

Prepare Your Sacred Cup

Signature is a blend of ceremonial cacao from the Maya Mountain region of Belize, awakened by cayenne, Ceylon cinnamon, and vanilla. A traditional Maya elixir, crafted to warm the body, open the heart, and bring sacred presence to your daily ritual.

Tap each ingredient to discover its gifts:

  • Ceremonial cacao bean
    Ceremonial Cacao
  • Ceremonial cacao beanNative heirloom Criollo cacao from the Maya Mountain region of Belize. Stone-ground in small batches, unsweetened, full of theobromine and minerals (magnesium, iron, zinc). Sourced from Mopan and Q’eqchi’ Maya cooperatives in Belize, Top 20 Heirloom Cacao designation, paid 125% above market through our Reciprocity Program.
  • Cayenne pepper
    Cayenne Pepper
  • Cayenne pepperTraditional Maya warming spice. Cayenne stokes the inner fire, boosts circulation, and amplifies the absorption of cacao’s nutrients. A whisper of heat that wakes the body and grounds the spirit, just as the ancient ones did before facing the day.
  • Ceylon cinnamon sticks
    Ceylon Cinnamon
  • Ceylon cinnamon sticksSweet, grounding warmth. True Ceylon cinnamon (not the cheaper cassia), prized in Maya tradition. It balances blood sugar, supports steady energy, and softens cacao’s bitter edges with a comforting, earthy sweetness that anchors the body.
  • Vanilla pod
    Vanilla
  • Real vanilla pods. Soft, calming, the gentle counterpoint to cayenne’s fire and cinnamon’s warmth. Vanilla rounds the cup into something warming, embracing, complete. Like an exhale after the climb.

How to prepare

3 Steps to Your Cacao Drink

A simple, slow practice. Let each step be part of the ritual.

01

Choose Your Dose

Break a piece from your 100g disc. 10g for a daily cup, 20g for meditation, 30-50g for ceremony. Each person feels cacao differently. Begin gently.

Add Warm Liquid

Warm water, plant milk (oat is silky and sweet), or herbal tea to about 70°C. Never boil. Your Signature blend is already spiced with cayenne, cinnamon, and vanilla.

Blend & Froth

Whisk with a molinillo, hand whisk, or blender until a soft foam crowns the cup. The rainbow shimmer of the froth is the spirit of Ix Cacao herself. As you stir, weave in your intention.
