Native heirloom Criollo cacao from the Maya Mountain region of Belize. Stone-ground in small batches, unsweetened, full of theobromine and minerals (magnesium, iron, zinc). Sourced from Mopan and Q’eqchi’ Maya cooperatives in Belize, Top 20 Heirloom Cacao designation, paid 125% above market through our Reciprocity Program.

3 Steps to Your Cacao Drink
A simple, slow practice. Let each step be part of the ritual.
Choose Your Dose
Break a piece from your 100g disc. 10g for a daily cup, 20g for meditation, 30-50g for ceremony. Each person feels cacao differently. Begin gently.
Add Warm Liquid
Warm water, plant milk (oat is silky and sweet), or herbal tea to about 70°C. Never boil. Natural is pure cacao, so feel free to add a pinch of cinnamon, cayenne or a drop of honey if your heart asks for it.
Blend & Froth
Whisk with a molinillo, hand whisk, or blender until a soft foam crowns the cup. The rainbow shimmer of the froth is the spirit of Ix Cacao herself. As you stir, weave in your intention.
