Our single-origin ceremonial cacao is ethically, sustainably, and organically sourced from over 400 Indigenous Maya family farmers of the Mopan and Q’eqchi’ Maya nations in Southern Belize. Here, the ancient Criollo variety (also known as the “Queen of Cacao”) is grown in biodiverse agroforestry systems with deep reverence for La Madre Tierra; it reflects generations of ancestral knowledge and a sacred relationship with the land.

Rooted in Maya heritage and crafted with intention, this cacao offers more than just a unique, smooth, full, creamy taste—it’s a bridge to ceremony, connection, and Earth-honouring tradition.

Our single-origin ceremonial cacao is sourced from Indigenous Q’eqchi’ Maya families living off-grid in the highlands of Guatemala, near the pristine cenote lake of Laguna Lachuá. Grown in a richly biodiverse ecosystem where cacao has thrived alongside honey, cardamom, and corn for thousands of years, these rare beans carry a truly unique and complex flavour profile.

With full traceability from tree to cup, our cacao is harvested by farmers committed to sustainable practices and the protection of their ancestral lands from extractive industries like palm oil. In partnership with Fundalachua, and through the Asodirp and K’atb’alpom community alliances, Q’eqchi’ Maya families continue to steward their environment while improving their quality of life.

This single-origin cacao offers a meaningful way to connect directly with its source, supporting Indigenous livelihoods, ecological preservation, and heart-centered living with every cup.

COMING SOON… Our single-origin Qʼeqchiʼ cacao beans are grown deep within the lush rainforests of Guatemala, sourced from the Federation of Cooperatives in Cobán, Alta Verapaz, and Baja Verapaz. These small-scale family farms cultivate cacao trees that have naturally hybridized over generations, creating a rare blend of Criollo with traces of Trinitario—known locally as premium “Acriollado.”

Naturally grown, truly unique, and most importantly, 100% cultivated by Indigenous Qʼeqchiʼ Maya smallholder farmers.

We’re honoured to partner with Fedecovera, one of Guatemala’s leading reforestation organisations, active since 1976. Their mission supports farmers in improving their livelihoods while preserving their cultural heritage and protecting the rainforest ecosystem.

We proudly pay a premium for these exceptional beans, helping to ensure their sustainable cultivation for generations to come.
