Meet Our Founder
Free-spirited by nature, Sharon left her homeland of the Netherlands at 18, starting out on a journey across the world.
She found her deepest connection in the ancient Maya lands, where she immersed in their culture and fell deeply in love with the sacred plant medicine, cacao.
It was here that the vision for Herbal Cacao was born. However, it wasn’t until much later, after returning to the Netherlands to care for her ailing father, that she began bringing this dream to life.
Later, she learned from Maya elders that her Nawal Tz’ikin—a guiding spirit—was calling her to embrace her mission and step fully into her soul’s path. This journey led her to share the transformative power of sacred cacao, inspiring others to connect with a heart-centered, conscious, and holistic way of living.
