Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Daily posting on Instagram storyline and social media cross-sharing
• Repurpose content creatively for TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, adding platform-specific strategy and innovation.
• Transform founder-written blogs into captivating visual and written stories for all social media channels
• Pinterest: Set up, manage, and create a growth strategy (pins repurposed from blogs and visuals).
• Stay on top of marketing trends, social media algorithms, and emerging AI tools to keep Herbal Cacao at the forefront of authentic, heart-led marketing.

Community Engagement

• High-level daily interaction across all social media platforms. Responding to all comments, DMs, and messages within 24 hours.
• Build trust and genuine relationships with our community through storytelling, transparency, and care.
• Proactively identify opportunities to amplify our voice, collaborations, UGC features, and partnerships.
• Use engagement tools and software to enhance connection while keeping communication personal and authentic.

Customer Service (2x per week)

• Respond to customer emails and inquiries with warmth, clarity, and professionalism.
• Manage daily orders and ensure seamless internal communication between customer experience and marketing.
• Anticipate customer needs, you understand what they want, need, and feel.
• Share community feedback and FAQs with the team.

Creative Marketing & Analysis

• Plan and schedule content in alignment with our brand calendar.
• Analyze performance metrics and share insights and actionable improvements monthly in a detailed report  (growth, reach, engagement, conversions).
• Suggest new creative formats, campaign ideas, and opportunities for organic growth.

• Develop New Partnerships:
  Proactively research, contact, and onboard aligned stockists, retailers, facilitators, and wellness spaces that resonate with the Herbal Cacao mission.
• Support Local Operations Setup:
  Assist in organizing logistics and operations for our Italian presence — from identifying potential fulfillment options to advising on local processes.
• Act as Brand Ambassador:
  Represent Herbal Cacao with authenticity and integrity in Italy, nurturing relationships that go beyond business — rooted in shared values and mutual growth.
• Collaborate with HQ Team:
  Work closely with our Dutch team, who will continue to handle customer service, marketing, and other key operations. Your focus will be partnership-building and local groundwork.
• Share Market Insights

• Based in northern Italy, (preferred Milano area) with a strong understanding of the local wellness & conscious business landscape
• Available 2 /3 times a week including Monday mandatory team meeting 
• Driver’s license and access to a car — essential for meeting partners in person and exploring local opportunities
• Previous experience in B2B sales, partnership development, or brand expansion
• Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
• Passion for sacred plant medicines, ceremonial cacao, holistic health, or Indigenous wisdom
• Excellent communication & relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working remotely and independently while staying connected to our core team
