Ceremonial Cacao Nibs

€18,90 EUR

Cacao Origin: Maya Mountain, Belize

These family farmers are from two different Maya nations: Mopan and Q’eqchi, located in the region known as the Maya Mountains, which is the least developed and most rural region of Belize. Here they cultivate the ancient Criollo “Heirloom” variety, also knows as the Queen of cacao. These Maya family farmers support sustainable agroforestry and harvest their cacao with deep respect for “La Madre Tierra”. Bringing you honest, premium, sustainable 100% pure cacao.

Our Cacao Nibs are broken up Ceremonial Cacao Seeds, from indigenous Maya tribes, available from our 3 cacao origins: Maya Mountain, Belize | Lachua, Guatemala | Alta Verapaz, Guatemala

You can use these nibs to grind your own Ceremonial Cacao paste using a metate or sprinkle them into your recipe to create super food breakfast or banana cake.
