🌱 Cacao Origin: Maya Mountain | Belize

Pasión is rooted in the lush rainforests of the Maya Mountain range in southern Belize, a region where cacao has been cultivated for centuries as both a sacred plant and a daily nourishment. This land is alive with biodiversity, limestone-rich soils, and abundant rainfall, conditions that allow cacao to develop depth, smoothness, and a naturally balanced profile.

Our cacao is ethically sourced from Indigenous Mopan and Q’eqchi Maya family farmers who continue to grow cacao within traditional agroforestry systems, cultivating harmony between cacao trees, medicinal plants, and the surrounding rainforest. These practices preserve the vitality of the land while honouring cacao’s ancestral lineage.

Maya Mountain is known for producing cacao with a soft, rounded character and gentle warmth, qualities that beautifully support Pasión’s heart-led, floral, and sensual profile. Each harvest reflects patience, care, and a deep respect for cacao as a living relationship between people, land, and ritual.

By choosing cacao from the Maya Mountains, you are supporting regenerative farming, cultural preservation, and a slower, more conscious way of engaging with one of the world’s most sacred plants.

𓂀 Key Ingredient: Mucuna Pruriens (Kapikachhu)

A revered botanical traditionally used in ancient herbal systems, valued for its symbolic association with vitality, joy, and life force. Included to support ceremonial ritual, creative expression, and moments of embodied presence.

Herbal Cacao's Mucuna Pruriens is known for its exceptional quality, carefully cultivated on small holder family farms nestled in and around Rajasthan, India. Thriving in the region's sandy or loamy soil with excellent drainage, this unique variety flourishes under the warm sun and gentle winds of Rajasthan's landscape.

✧ Infused with: Rose & Vanilla

Rose Petals have long been honoured across cultures as a symbol of love, devotion, and beauty. In ceremonial settings, rose is often invited to soften the heart and create an atmosphere of tenderness and receptivity.

Within Pasión, rose petals add a light floral fragrance and a subtle sweetness, enhancing the sensory experience while supporting rituals centered on connection, self-expression, and presence.

✧ Vanilla has been cherished for centuries for its rich aroma and naturally soothing presence. In ceremonial blends, vanilla is often associated with comfort, grounding, and gentle pleasure.

In Pasión, vanilla rounds out the cacao’s depth, softening the profile and weaving together the floral notes of rose with cacao’s natural warmth. creating a smooth, inviting cup meant to be savoured slowly.

Cacao is always best enjoyed fresh, ideally right after opening, and shared with loved ones. If not, be sure to store it in a cool, dry place.

To extend its shelf life (up to two years or more), keep your cacao away from moisture and temperature fluctuations. As a natural, preservative-free product, ceremonial cacao is more sensitive than commercial chocolate and may change in texture over time.

If it melts or shifts in appearance, don’t worry, it’s still perfectly fine to use and retains all its nourishing properties.
