Our single-origin Qʼeqchiʼ cacao beans are organically grown deep within the lush rainforests of Guatemala, sourced from the Federation of Cooperatives in Cobán, Alta Verapaz, and Baja Verapaz. These small-scale family farms cultivate cacao trees that have naturally hybridized over generations, creating a rare blend of Criollo with traces of Trinitario, known locally as premium Guatemalan “Acriollado.”

Naturally, organically and sustainably grown, truly unique, and most importantly, 100% cultivated by Indigenous Qʼeqchiʼ Maya smallholder farmers.

We’re honoured to partner with one of Guatemala’s leading reforestation organizations, active since 1976. Their mission supports farmers in improving their livelihoods while preserving their cultural heritage and protecting the rainforest ecosystem.

We proudly pay a premium for these exceptional beans, helping to ensure their sustainable cultivation for generations to come.

100% Ceremonial Grade Cacao – Belize & Guatemala

Cacao is sacred in the ancient lands of the Maya, revered for thousands of years as a plant medicine for the physical, mental, and spiritual body. To this day, its profound spiritual and wellness benefits continue to be honoured around the world.

***To protect this rare and endangered cacao variety (now under threat from large-scale cacao corporations) and to support the livelihoods of Indigenous Maya families, these special beans are purchased at a premium price. This ensures ethical, sustainable sourcing while preserving cultural heritage and biodiversity.

Upon arriving in the Netherlands, these special beans are lovingly blended & packaged by our social work team. Here, people who might not meet society’s usual work expectations (because of physical or mental disabilities) come together to share their skills and be part of something amazing! This partnership reinforces our dedication to using social and ethical practices across our entire supply chain.

A true sustainable ethical premium Ceremonial Cacao, to be shared with your own community,- passing on the love from Bean to Cup

100% Ceremonial Cacao

1 bag contains 500 gram.

  • 10-20 grams = Regular drinking serving
  • 20-30 grams = Meditative drinking serving
  • 30-50 grams = Ceremonial drinking serving

Add warm liquid of choice: Water (Plant) Milk, or herbal tea. [Do not boil the liquid or you will lose most of the magic]

Then set an intention as you blend / whisk the cacao magic.

Feel free to add any other sweeteners / herbs / spices of your choice.

Cacao is always best when consumed straight after opening and when shared with loved ones. Otherwise, you best off storing it in a cool and dry place far far away from any other cacao lover 😉

Important to note to keep your cacao away from moisture so you can prolong the shelf life to two years or even longer!

Additionally, ceremonial cacao, being a natural product without the preservatives often found in commercial chocolate, may be more susceptible to changes in texture over time as its a very sensitive for moist and temperature change! However if your cacao is melted it is still oke to use and still contains all its properties.
