Divine Strength brings together ceremonial cacao with Chaga, often referred to as the “King of the mushrooms,” and traditional Maya spices, creating a deeply grounding and steady experience for daily ritual.
Chaga grows on birch trees in the northern forests of Europe and has been traditionally used by Siberian tribes and northern communities for generations, often prepared as a tea and valued within daily and ritual practices. Sometimes referred to as the “Diamond of the Forest,” it carries a deep connection to nature and the ancient strength of the land.
Within this blend, Chaga moves through the cacao with a rich and earthy character, bringing depth and a sense of stability and rooted presence.
Combined with the full ceremonial cacao bean, stone-ground in small batches and kept in its natural form, the cacao retains its full richness and body.
Divine Strength honours the traditional pairing of cacao with cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and vanilla, spices used for centuries in ceremonial preparations across Mesoamerica, creating a smooth and rounded flavour that unfolds slowly, allowing each element to express its character.

Usage Precautions:

Chaga is a functional mushroom traditionally used in herbal practices and long-standing nature-based traditions.

Begin with a smaller serving to understand how it feels in your body. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Avoid use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are taking medication, particularly related to blood sugar, blood thinning, or immune function, or have underlying health conditions, consult a healthcare professional before use.

This product is not intended to substitute a varied and balanced diet.

Cacao is always best enjoyed fresh, ideally right after opening, and shared with loved ones. If not, be sure to store it in a cool, dry place.

To extend its shelf life (up to two years or more), keep your cacao away from moisture and temperature fluctuations. As a natural, preservative-free product, ceremonial cacao is more sensitive than commercial chocolate and may change in texture over time.

If it melts or shifts in appearance, don’t worry, it’s still perfectly fine to use and retains all its nourishing properties.

*Ceremonial Cacao
Ethically sourced from Indigenous Q’eqchi’ and Poqomchi’ Maya family farmers from Alta Verapaz, Guatemala

𓍊𓋼 Key Ingredient: Chaga Mushroom (Inonotus obliquus)
Chaga is a functional (non-psychedelic) mushroom that grows on birch trees in the northern forests of Europe. It has been traditionally used by Siberian tribes and northern communities for generations, where it was prepared as a tea and valued within daily and ritual practices.

Traditionally wild-harvested from birch trees in cold northern climates, Chaga develops slowly, shaped by the conditions of the forest.

This cacao blend contains a concentrated dual-extracted 15:1 Chaga extract. Using both water and alcohol extraction methods, this process captures a broad range of naturally occurring compounds within the mushroom.

A 15:1 extract means that 15 grams of raw, dried Chaga are used to produce 1 gram of extract. Sourced from the fruiting body and prepared without additives or mycelium, it integrates smoothly into the cacao, complementing the richness of cacao without overpowering its flavour.

Chaga carries a naturally robust and mineral-rich profile, often associated with strength, resilience, and connection to the natural world. Within this blend, it offers a steady depth that unfolds slowly, inviting a more rooted and embodied ritual experience.

*Cayenne pepper

Has long been used in cacao preparations to bring warmth and intensity to the blend, adding depth and contrast to the richness of the cacao, inviting a sense of inner warmth.

*Ceylon Cinnamon
Softly warming and aromatic, cinnamon brings smooth structure to the blend, supporting a balanced and steady flavour profile.

*Vanilla
Subtle and harmonising, vanilla smooths the cacao and spices, creating a clean and rounded experience

From Bean-to-Cup

In the fertile region of Alta Verapaz in northern Guatemala, cacao is grown by Indigenous Q’eqchi’ and Poqomchi’ Maya communities, whose ceremonial relationship with cacao is deeply woven into the spiritual history of the land. Referenced in the Popol Vuh, this region remains a place where cacao is grown with reverence, patience, and prayer.

Surrounded by rivers, mountains, and tropical cloud forest, cacao trees grow within diverse agroforestry systems that mirror the natural landscape. These environments allow native cacao varieties to develop slowly, shaped by climate, soil, and altitude, maintained by farmers who continue these traditional growing systems in harmony with the land and its natural rhythms.

We collaborate with smallholder farmers and FEDECOVERA, a respected Indigenous regional cooperative partner, supporting thousands of Maya farmers. This collaboration strengthens community well-being through education, healthcare access, and sustainable agroforestry, while protecting sacred traditions and the rainforest ecosystems that sustain them.

Once harvested, fermented, and sun-dried, the beans are carefully hand-sorted and made ready for transport to the Netherlands, where they are stone-ground and prepared in small batches. The final packaging is carried out by a social working team, extending the journey into a space of inclusion and shared contribution.

With each cup, you are connected to the landscapes of Guatemala and the communities who continue to carry this tradition forward.

By choosing this cacao, you are supporting a supply chain rooted in mutual care, creating a ripple effect of positive change from the land and the farmers, to your cup.
